How it works. From your list to a logged outcome.

  1. 1

Match the series to the call

Promotional calls use a 140-series number. Service and transactional calls use 1600 or 1601-series where your sector requires them. Inbound lines use a regional number.

  2. 2

    Register as the sender

For 140, 1600 and 1601-series numbers, your business registers on the DLT platform as the sender and keeps its customers' consent. Kallix declares automated calling for the number and whitelists it with Truecaller and the operators.

  3. 3

    Attach numbers to agents

Route a regional number to an agent to answer calls 24×7, or give a campaign a pool of series numbers to call from.

  4. 4

    Call, check and log

Campaigns check the DND register before dialling and call only in your IST windows. Every call is logged with its recording, transcript and outcome.

A real call. Honest about being AI.

The voice sounds human, and the agent says it's an AI assistant in its first line. It keeps to your script, hands over to a person when asked, and logs what happened.

Picking virtual phone numbers for AI calls in India. Match the series to what the call is for.

Indian rules tie the number to the purpose of the call, so people can tell a sales call from a service call before they pick up. Commercial calls can't go out from ordinary 10-digit mobile numbers.

When we last checked, TRAI hadn't named a series for other service calls, such as cash-on-delivery confirmations for an online store. Ask your operator which one to use, and keep its answer in writing. Our TRAI rules guide → has the current detail.

Declared, registered and checked. Who does what for each number.

TRAI's rules ask every business that places automated calls to declare them to its telecom operator, along with the caller numbers it uses. Kallix makes that declaration for every number it provides through Vobiz, and whitelists your numbers with Truecaller and the telecom operators on your behalf. Vobiz doesn't offer whitelisting, so we do it for you. Your business registers on the DLT platform as the sender, known as the principal entity, and owns its customers' consent. Calls from 140, 1600 and 1601-series numbers mustn't be shown to people as spam, and caller-ID apps may not block the series wholesale, though anyone can still block a number on their own phone.

  • Kallix declares automated (A2P) calling for its numbers
  • Kallix whitelists your numbers with Truecaller and the telecom operators
  • Your business holds its DLT sender registration and customers' consent
  • The consent source and date can be stored on each contact
  • DND-registered numbers are skipped on promotional calls unless consent is recorded
  • Do-not-call requests are honoured on the call and excluded from every campaign
  • A per-person call limit applies across all agents and campaigns

A phone number that runs in the cloud rather than on a SIM card or desk phone. On Kallix the number is attached to an AI agent, which calls out from it in a campaign or answers the calls that come in to it.

Promotional calls come from 140-series numbers. Service and transactional calls come from 1600-series numbers in banking, financial services and insurance, and from 1601-series numbers for courier, logistics and utility companies. Inbound lines use a regional number. Ordinary 10-digit mobile numbers can't be used for commercial calls.

From ₹499 a month per number, billed every three months at ₹1,497. The dashboard shows the rate for each number. Call minutes are separate, at ₹4.80 a minute, all in.

Not for Kallix numbers. TRAI's rules require automated calls to be declared to the telecom operator with the caller numbers used, and Kallix makes that declaration for every number it provides through Vobiz.

Yes. Kallix whitelists your calling numbers with Truecaller and the telecom operators on your behalf, as part of setting up your numbers. Vobiz, our telephony partner, doesn't offer this, so we handle it for you. Whitelisting helps calls show up as a known business; anyone can still block a number on their own phone.

For 140, 1600 and 1601-series numbers, yes. Your business registers on the DLT platform as the sender and owns its customers' consent. You can store the consent source and date on each contact in Kallix.

Calls from 140, 1600 and 1601-series numbers mustn't be shown as spam under TRAI's rules, and caller-ID apps may not block those series wholesale. Kallix also whitelists your numbers with Truecaller and the telecom operators on your behalf, which helps your calls show up as your business rather than an unknown number. For campaigns, Kallix can use a pool of caller numbers and skips any number flagged as spam. DND checks, calling windows and per-person call limits also keep you from calling people who don't want to hear from you.

Yes. Route a regional number to an agent and it answers every call, day or night, in Hindi, English, Hinglish and more. It transfers to your team on the rules you set, and each call is logged with its transcript and outcome.
