Terms of service

Last updated 17 Oct 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Kallix Labs Private Limited ("Kallix", "we", "us") for using kallix.in and the Kallix platform, including the dashboard, the API, phone numbers and AI agents. "You" means the business that opens an account, and anyone who uses the website.

By creating an account, topping up your wallet or using the platform, you agree to these terms, our acceptable use policy, our refunds and cancellations policy and our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Kallix.

About these terms

  • If you accept these terms for a company or other organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind it.
  • Kallix is for business use. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract under Indian law.
  • If you've signed an enterprise contract or order form with us, it takes priority over these terms where the two conflict.
  • If you only browse the website or try a demo call, the sections on accounts and use of the service, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law apply to you.
  • These terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and don't need a physical or digital signature.
  • We may update these terms. We'll tell account holders about material changes by email or in the dashboard before they take effect. If you keep using Kallix after that, the updated terms apply.

Accounts and use of the service

Your account. Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. Keep passwords and API keys secret, give team members only the access they need, and tell us straight away at support@kallix.in if you think someone has used your account without permission. You're responsible for everything done through your account and API keys.

Your right to use Kallix. While your account is in good standing, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for your own business, under these terms.

You must not:

  • copy, resell or sublicense the platform, or offer it to others as a service, unless we've agreed in writing;
  • reverse engineer or decompile the platform, or try to extract its source code, models or voices, except where the law allows it;
  • try to get around usage limits, billing, security or access controls;
  • probe, scan or overload our systems, or scrape the website or platform with automated tools;
  • use Kallix to build a competing product;
  • enter a phone number for a website demo call that isn't yours or that you aren't authorised to use.

Your responsibilities for calls

You decide who your agents call, what they say and why. You're responsible for making sure every call and message sent through your account is lawful. In particular, you must:

  1. Have a lawful basis. Have consent or another lawful basis under the DPDP Act and your sector's rules for every person you call or message, and keep records you can show us if we ask.
  2. Follow TRAI's rules. Comply with the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations, 2018 and the directions issued under them: check numbers against the National Customer Preference Register (DND), complete the registrations those rules require, use the right number series for promotional and service calls, and call only within the permitted hours and the time bands people have chosen.
  3. Disclose AI. Make sure your agents say they're AI at the start of each call, never claim to be a real person, and offer a way to reach a person where practical.
  4. Tell people about recording. Give notice that calls are recorded, and get consent where the law requires it.
  5. Keep scripts lawful and accurate. Your prompts, scripts, knowledge bases and messages must be truthful and follow the law and the rules of any regulator that covers you, such as RBI, IRDAI or SEBI.
  6. Honour opt-outs. Stop calling anyone who asks you to, and keep your own do-not-call list.
  7. Follow local law abroad. If you call people outside India, follow the laws of their country too.

Our acceptable use policy sets out what is and isn't allowed. Features such as calling windows, do-not-call handling and AI disclosure lines help you meet these duties, but they don't make your calls lawful on their own. Nothing we say or publish is legal advice.

Prices, wallet and billing

Our public prices are:

ItemPrice
Calls to Indian numbers₹4.80 per minute, billed in 30-second pulses
Concurrent callsTwo included; ₹999 per month for each extra concurrent call
Indian phone numbersBilled separately, from ₹499 per number per month, charged for three months at a time. Current rates are shown in the dashboard.
  • What the call rate covers. One rate covers voice, speech recognition, the language model and call minutes for calls to Indian numbers. Phone numbers are not included and are billed separately. Rates for calls to other countries are shown in the dashboard or agreed in writing.
  • Pulses. Calls are billed in 30-second pulses, and any part of a pulse counts as a full pulse. For example, a 40-second call is billed as one minute (₹4.80).
  • GST. Prices exclude GST, which we add at the rate that applies. Add your GSTIN to your account so it appears on your invoices.
  • Prepaid wallet. You add credits to your wallet in advance, and call charges are deducted as calls happen. If your balance can't cover more calls, we may pause new calls until you top up.
  • Numbers and concurrency. Fees for phone numbers and extra concurrent calls are charged in advance for each period, and renew at the end of it unless you cancel.
  • Coupons and promotional credits have no cash value, can't be transferred and may expire as the offer states.
  • Price changes. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of a price increase. It won't affect periods you've already paid for.
  • Enterprise. Volume pricing, higher concurrency and other terms apply as agreed in an enterprise contract.

Refunds and cancellations follow our refunds and cancellations policy.

Intellectual property

Ours. Kallix and its licensors own the website, the platform and its software, the voice library, templates, documentation, and the Kallix name and logo. These terms don't transfer any of those rights to you, apart from the right to use the platform described above.

Yours. You keep all rights in what you bring to Kallix and what your agents produce for you: prompts, scripts, knowledge base content, contact lists, recordings, transcripts and call results ("your content"). You give us a licence to host, copy, process and transmit your content only as needed to provide and support the service for you.

Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Brand. You may not use the Kallix name or logo without our written permission. We won't name you as a customer without yours.

Your data and privacy

  • Roles. For personal data in your content, you're the Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act and Kallix is your Data Processor. We process that data only on your instructions, which are these terms, your settings in the platform and any contract you sign with us.
  • Your duties. You're responsible for giving people the notices the law requires, getting and recording their consent, and answering their requests about their data. We'll help you with requests about data held on the platform.
  • Breaches. We'll tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a personal data breach affecting your content, and give you the information we reasonably can so you can meet your own duties.
  • How we use your content. We don't sell your content or use it for any other customer. We may use aggregated data that doesn't identify you or any person, such as call volumes and error rates, to run and improve the platform.
  • Retention and deletion. We keep your content as your settings and your contract set out. Export anything you want to keep before you close your account.
  • Data processing terms. Enterprise customers can ask for a data processing agreement.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data about you and your team as account users.

Confidentiality

Each of us may receive information from the other that isn't public, such as business plans, pricing, scripts, contact lists or technical details ("confidential information"). The party that receives it will:

  • use it only for the purposes of these terms;
  • protect it with reasonable care, and at least the care it uses for its own confidential information;
  • share it only with employees, contractors and advisers who need it and are bound by similar duties.

This doesn't apply to information that is or becomes public through no fault of the receiving party, that it already knew or developed independently, or that it received lawfully from someone else. If the law or a court requires disclosure, the receiving party may disclose what is required, and will tell the other party first where it lawfully can. These duties continue after your account closes.

Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep the platform available around the clock and to fix problems quickly. We aim to give notice of planned maintenance and to schedule it for quieter hours. Calls depend on telecom networks, WhatsApp and other services outside our control, so we can't promise that every call will connect or every message will be delivered.

Service levels, uptime commitments and service credits apply only if they're set out in a signed enterprise contract.

We improve Kallix often, so features may change. If we remove a feature you pay for, we'll tell you in advance. Features marked beta or preview are offered as they are, and may change or stop.

Suspension and termination

Suspension. We may suspend all or part of your use of Kallix, such as a campaign, a phone number or your whole account, if:

  • you breach these terms or the acceptable use policy, or we reasonably suspect you have;
  • a telecom operator, regulator or court asks us to, or the law requires it;
  • your use puts people, our systems or other customers at risk;
  • amounts you owe are still unpaid after we've reminded you.

Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. We'll restore access once the issue is resolved. Suspension doesn't remove your wallet balance.

Termination by you. You can stop using Kallix at any time, and ask us to close your account by writing to support@kallix.in.

Termination by us. We may end these terms and close your account:

  • if you materially breach them and don't fix the breach within 15 days of our notice;
  • straight away, if the breach is serious (for example, fraudulent or abusive calls, or calls made at scale without consent), or if the law requires it;
  • for any other reason, with 30 days' notice.

What happens next. Your access ends. Unused paid wallet credits are refunded as our refunds and cancellations policy describes, minus any amounts you owe us, including costs or penalties caused by your breach. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property, confidentiality, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law, continue to apply.

Disclaimers

  • AI can make mistakes. Agents can mishear, misunderstand or say something inaccurate. Test your agents before you launch (the platform includes test suites and simulated calls), monitor your calls, and review transcripts and results before you rely on them for important decisions.
  • No guaranteed results. We don't promise any particular connect rate, booking rate, collection result or other business outcome.
  • Not advice. Templates, sample scripts and notes on regulations, on our website or in the platform, are general information. They aren't legal, financial or medical advice.
  • Third-party services. WhatsApp, CRMs, calendars and other tools you connect are run by others under their own terms, and we aren't responsible for them.
  • As is. To the extent the law allows, Kallix is provided as is and as available, without any warranty that isn't set out in these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  1. Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, even if it was foreseeable.
  2. Kallix's total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these terms or the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

These limits don't apply to your obligation to pay fees, to your indemnity below, to breaches of the acceptable use policy, or to any liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud.

Indemnity

You'll defend and indemnify Kallix and its directors, officers and employees against any third-party claim, and any loss, fine, penalty or reasonable legal cost, arising from:

  • calls and messages made through your account;
  • your content, scripts, contact lists and instructions;
  • your breach of these terms or the acceptable use policy;
  • your breach of any law, including TRAI's regulations and data protection law.

We'll tell you promptly about any such claim, let you control its defence, and cooperate reasonably at your cost. You won't settle a claim in a way that admits fault on Kallix's behalf without our written consent.

Governing law and general terms

  • Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Disputes. We'll both first try to settle any dispute in good faith by talking to each other. If we can't, the courts at Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh, have exclusive jurisdiction.
  • Whole agreement. These terms, the policies they refer to and any signed contract or order form are the whole agreement between us about Kallix.
  • Transfer. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours to a company that takes over our business.
  • Events outside our control. Neither of us is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as network outages, natural disasters or government action. This doesn't excuse payment.
  • Notices. We'll send notices to your account email or show them in the dashboard. Send legal notices to us at hello@kallix.in and at our registered office.
  • Other terms. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right doesn't mean we've given it up. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership or agency between us.
