1601-series numbers for courier calls
In the first phase of TRAI's 1601 series, courier, express logistics, parcel delivery and freight firms must place their service and transactional calls on 1601-series numbers. They're allotted to the firm itself after its operator verifies it, and can't be used for promotional calls. Kallix supports 1601-series numbers through Vobiz.
Brands calling their own buyers
TRAI's first phase doesn't name e-commerce sellers or D2C brands. Ask your operator which series to use for order and delivery calls, and keep its answer in writing. Offer calls go only to buyers who consented, and Kallix checks numbers against the DND register before a campaign dials.
Buyer addresses and numbers
Names, phone numbers and addresses are personal data under the DPDP Act. Kallix is DPDP Act compliant and stores and processes call data in India. Send only the shipment fields a call needs, and hide phone numbers from view-only members.

It calls buyers at the moments a delivery can go wrong: before dispatch to check the address and COD order, on delivery day to confirm someone will be there, and after a failed attempt or NDR to rebook it. Each call ends in a recorded outcome, and the agent speaks Hindi, English, Hinglish and more, switching when the buyer does.
Push each NDR from your shipping panel or order system through the REST API, or through Zapier or Make. The agent calls within the windows you set, and the buyer's answer, such as reattempt, new address or cancel, comes back by signed webhook for your NDR team to act on.
In the first phase of the 1601 series, TRAI has put service and transactional calls from courier, express logistics, parcel delivery and freight firms on 1601-series numbers. They're allotted to the firm itself after operator checks, and can't carry promotions. Kallix supports 140, 1600 and 1601-series numbers through Vobiz, its telephony partner.
Yes. D2C delivery teams use the same calls on their own orders: COD confirmation, address checks, delivery updates and NDR follow-up. TRAI hasn't named a number series for brands' order calls yet, so ask your operator which one to use and keep its answer in writing.
Yes. Route a Kallix number to an agent and add your partner FAQs, such as hub timings, joining documents and how payouts work, to its knowledge base. It answers routine questions around the clock and transfers the rest to your ops team.
