Abandoned cart recovery calls that clear the doubt.
Then send shoppers back to checkout.

Kallix makes abandoned cart recovery calls to shoppers who left at checkout. Your agent asks what stopped them, answers questions about size, delivery, COD or a failed UPI payment from your knowledge base, offers only the incentives you approve and sends the cart link on WhatsApp.

How it works. From trigger to outcome in 4 steps.

  1. 1

    A checkout stalls

Your store pushes abandoned checkouts to Kallix by API, Zapier or Make, with the items, cart value and cart link as variables.

  2. 2

A call after a short wait

You choose the delay and the calling window. The agent says it's an AI assistant, names what's in the cart and asks if something got in the way.

  3. 3

    The doubt is cleared

It answers from your knowledge base, such as delivery dates, COD, returns or sizing, and mentions a coupon only if your script allows one.

  4. 4

    Back to checkout

The cart or payment link goes out on WhatsApp. The reason the shopper left is saved as a field and sent to your store or CRM.

What you can track. On every call.

Each call ends with an outcome, a recording and a transcript, logged against the contact and sent on to your CRM.

  • Carts called
  • Connect rate
  • Checkout links sent
  • Reasons for leaving
  • Offers mentioned
  • Do-not-call requests

Everything this call needs.

Only the carts worth a call
Send the checkouts you choose, such as carts above a set value or from repeat buyers, and leave the rest to email or WhatsApp.
Why shoppers left
Every call records the reason, such as price, delivery time or a failed payment, so you can fix the checkout itself.
Failed payments, retried
When a UPI or card payment failed, the agent sends a fresh payment link on WhatsApp. It never asks for card numbers, OTPs or PINs.
Approved offers only
Put a coupon in a variable such as {{coupon_code}}, with a rule for when to mention it. The agent never invents a discount.
Links on WhatsApp
Send the cart link, a size chart or your returns policy on WhatsApp the moment the call ends.
Calls that don't nag
A per-person limit covers every campaign, calls stay inside your windows and do-not-call requests are honoured.

Where abandoned cart recovery calls help. When a question stands in the way.

A call is worth it when there's a question behind the cart. Before you dial, remove shoppers who have since ordered. To confirm cash-on-delivery orders before they ship, see order confirmation →.

  • Payment failed. A UPI timeout or a declined card. The agent sends a fresh link.
  • Delivery doubts. When it will arrive, whether COD is available, whether it ships to that pincode.
  • Size and fit. Answers from your size chart and exchange policy.
  • Charges at checkout. Shipping or COD fees the shopper didn't expect, and any offer you've approved.
  • High-value carts. Furniture, electronics or jewellery buyers who want a person get a warm transfer to your team.
  • Bookings and course fees. Hotel stays and course checkouts that stopped at the payment page.

Controls that keep it polite. Set once, applied to every call.

  • DND checks. Cart recovery calls are sales calls, so they go out from 140-series numbers. Kallix checks every number against the DND register before a campaign dials, and skips DND-registered shoppers unless you've recorded consent.
  • A limit per shopper. Set how often one person can be called across all agents and campaigns. Retries count.
  • Calling windows. Calls go out only in the IST hours you set, so a midnight checkout gets a call the next morning.
  • Do-not-call honoured. If a shopper asks you to stop, the agent agrees and that number is excluded from every campaign.
  • AI disclosure. Every call opens with the agent saying it's an AI assistant.

Questions, answered.

You choose. Send the cart to Kallix after the wait you want, such as an hour, and the agent calls within your calling window. Checkouts that stall late at night are called the next morning.

Only the ones you send. You might pick carts above a set value or shoppers who've bought before, and leave smaller carts to email or WhatsApp.

Only if you say so. Add the offer as a variable, such as {{coupon_code}}, with a rule for when to mention it, for example only when price comes up. The agent won't invent one.

Remove carts that convert before the call, by API. If a shopper says they've already ordered, the agent thanks them, logs the outcome and ends the call.

Yes, from a knowledge base built from your website and policies: sizes, delivery times, COD, returns and exchanges. Questions it can't answer go to your team by warm transfer or callback.

No. The agent never asks for card numbers, OTPs or PINs. It sends the cart or payment link on WhatsApp, and the shopper pays on your own checkout, by UPI or any method you offer.

The agent agrees, ends the call politely and records a do-not-call request. That number is excluded from every future campaign.
