How concurrency works on a campaign
An AI agent doesn't get tired, but each live conversation still takes a line. Concurrency sets how many lines a campaign can use at once. More lines mean the list is worked through faster; fewer lines spread the same calls over a longer stretch.
Say a lender wants to remind a few thousand borrowers inside one morning window. With two lines, the agent can only be on two calls at any moment, so some borrowers may not be reached before the window closes. With more lines, the same list fits.
Concurrency works together with the other rules you set:
- Calling windows. Calls go out only inside the IST hours you choose, so the lines have a fixed amount of time.
- Retries. Second attempts for people who didn't answer use the same lines.
- Per-person limits. A cap on how often one person is called applies across all agents and campaigns, however many lines you have.
Why it matters
Too little concurrency and leads wait, or reminders land after the due date. Too much and you pay for lines that sit idle. Match it to the size of your lists and the length of your calling window.
Concurrent calls in Kallix
Kallix includes two concurrent calls. Each extra concurrent call costs ₹999 a month, and enterprise plans offer higher concurrency. You choose how many parallel lines each campaign uses.
