What a month costs. Worked in rupees.
A worked example, so you can see where the money goes. The assumptions:
- 10,000 minutes a month of outbound calls to Indian mobiles
- one Indian phone number
- five calls running at once
- Smallest's pay-as-you-go plan
- dollars converted at ₹95 to $1, rounded from the mid-market rate of about ₹94.8 on 22 October 2026
- taxes left out on both sides
| Monthly cost | Kallix | Smallest.ai |
|---|---|---|
| AI and voice | 10,000 × ₹4.80 = ₹48,000 | 10,000 × $0.09 to $0.21 = $900 to $2,100, about ₹85,500 to ₹1,99,500 |
| Call minutes | Included | Your own carrier is billed at cost. A separate rate for its own numbers isn't listed |
| Five calls at once | 3 extra lines × ₹999 = ₹2,997 | Included (20 lines) |
| One Indian number | ₹499 | $10, about ₹950 |
| What we can total | ₹51,496 | About ₹86,450 to ₹2,00,450, plus any telephony |
How to read it. Smallest's bill depends on which language model and voice you choose, so the gap ranges widely. Its Enterprise plan quotes rates from $0.05 a minute, about ₹4.75, so a large team should ask for a quote. Add-ons such as knowledge-base queries and PII removal are billed on top.
Kallix bills in 30-second pulses, so a 50-second call counts as two pulses, ₹4.80.
