Kallix vs Bolna.
One rupee rate, or full control of your stack.
The short answer
Pick Bolna if your team has developers who want to choose their own speech and language models, plug in their own carrier, or call in a wide range of Indian languages. Pick Kallix if sales, collections or support teams will run the calls and you want one rupee rate with Indian call minutes inside it, call data kept in India and a test for every change before it reaches a customer.

Where each is stronger. Pick on what matters to your calls.
Where Bolna is stronger
More languages, documented
Bolna lists 18 languages and publishes which ones support switching mid-call. Kallix covers Hindi, English, Hinglish and more, and doesn't publish a full list yet.
More parallel calls for the money
A paid Bolna account starts at 10 concurrent calls with no line charge. Kallix includes two and charges ₹999 a month for each extra line, so large campaigns cost more in lines on Kallix.
Control of the stack
On Bolna you can choose your models, bring your own API keys and plug in your own carrier or SIP trunk. A team with engineers and a carrier contract can tune cost and quality call by call.
Deployment choices
Bolna offers data residency in India or the US and an on-premise option on enterprise plans. Kallix doesn't offer on-premise.
Developer tooling
A docs site of roughly 500 pages, a command-line tool, an n8n node, sub-accounts for separate teams or clients, and purchase through AWS Marketplace.
Track record
Bolna has sold since 2024 and publishes named customer stories from Indian companies. It also says its latest independent penetration test (VAPT) was rated A+.
Cheaper numbers, billed monthly
Bolna's numbers cost $5 (about ₹460) a month. Kallix's start at ₹499 a month, billed every three months.
Where Kallix is stronger
One rupee rate, with the call inside it
₹4.80 a minute covers the voice, speech recognition, the language model and the Indian call minutes. There's no dollar wallet, no separate carrier bill and no platform fee added per minute.
Call data in India from the first call
Every Kallix account stores and processes call data in India, and Kallix is DPDP Act compliant. You don't need an enterprise contract for it.
Numbers and rules handled
Kallix provides 140, 1600 and 1601-series numbers, declares automated calling for them and checks every number against the DND register before a campaign dials.
Testing as a habit
Write test scenarios or upload them as a file, run the suite against a new agent version and see a pass or fail for each. Rerun after every change, compare with the live version and roll back if something slips.
Signed webhooks
Each call event comes with a signature you can verify, and a test button to check your endpoint.
What a month costs. Worked in rupees.
A worked example, so you can see where the money goes. The assumptions:
- 10,000 minutes a month of outbound calls to Indian mobiles
- one Indian phone number
- five calls running at once
- dollar prices converted at ₹92 to $1, the rate Bolna's own pricing page used on 23 October 2026
- taxes left out on both sides
| Monthly cost | Kallix | Bolna |
|---|---|---|
| AI and voice, per minute | 10,000 × ₹4.80 = ₹48,000 | 10,000 × ₹4.15 to ₹5.52 = ₹41,500 to ₹55,200, depending on top-up size |
| Telephony, per minute | Included | Billed by the carrier, varies by provider. Not listed as one figure |
| Platform fee, per minute | None | Billed. The amount isn't listed on the pricing page |
| Five calls at once | 3 extra lines × ₹999 = ₹2,997 | Included |
| One Indian number | ₹499 | About ₹460 |
| What we can total | ₹51,496 | ₹41,960 to ₹55,660, plus telephony and the platform fee |
How to read it. At Bolna's standard rate, the AI part alone costs more than Kallix's all-in rate. On Bolna's biggest top-up, the AI part costs less, and the answer turns on the telephony and platform fee for your carrier, so ask Bolna for both. A new Bolna account can also buy a Pilot of 12,000 minutes for $500 (about ₹46,000). If you bring your own keys or carrier to Bolna, those costs move to your own provider bills.
On Kallix, calls bill in 30-second pulses, so a 50-second call counts as two pulses, ₹4.80.

It depends on your volume and your carrier. Kallix charges ₹4.80 a minute with Indian call minutes included. Bolna's AI part runs from about ₹4.15 to ₹5.52 a minute, with telephony and a platform fee on top, but it includes more concurrent calls. Price the same month of calls on both before you decide.
Both handle Hindi and Hinglish, and both follow a caller who switches language mid-call. Bolna documents more Indian languages in total. The fair test is your own script: run the same calls on both and listen to the recordings.
Kallix stores and processes call data in India on every account and is DPDP Act compliant. Bolna processes calls in the US by default and offers India data residency on enterprise plans.
Kallix gives you ₹500 in free credits on sign-up, about 100 minutes of calls. Bolna gives $5 in free credits, and trial accounts can call verified numbers only.
On Kallix, numbers start at ₹499 a month, billed every three months, and the dashboard shows each number's rate. On Bolna, a number costs $5 a month (about ₹460), and Indian numbers need KYC first. On both, the number is billed separately from call minutes.
No. Kallix runs one stack that we choose and tune, and its cost sits inside the ₹4.80 rate. Numbers come through Vobiz. If you need to pick your own models or route calls over your own SIP trunk, Bolna is the better fit.
Kallix checks every number against the DND register before a campaign dials, calls only inside the windows you set in IST, honours a do-not-call request on the call and declares automated calling for its numbers. Bolna offers time-of-day limits and do-not-call lists, and has a guide to DLT-registered 140- and 160-series numbers.
Kallix bills in rupees from a prepaid wallet, plus GST. Bolna's wallet, Pilot plan and numbers are priced in US dollars, with rupee equivalents shown on its pricing page.
