Bolna AI alternatives.
Indian and global platforms, fairly compared.

Searching for Bolna AI alternatives, or ready to switch from Bolna? These six voice AI platforms, starting with Kallix, are compared on who they suit, their published price and their limits. Every rival fact comes from that company's own pages, checked on 23 October 2026.

Why teams look beyond Bolna AI.

Bolna AI is an Indian voice AI platform, backed by Y Combinator, with a no-code playground, developer APIs and a choice of 20+ speech, language and voice models. Here's why teams compare it with others.

  • How the bill is built. Bolna's pay-as-you-go rate starts at $0.06 a minute, shown as ₹5.52 on its page. Its FAQ says telephony and a platform fee are added per minute, so your final rate depends on your setup.
  • Dollars or rupees. Bolna's wallet is topped up in US dollars, from $10 to $5,000. Some Indian finance teams prefer to pay in rupees.
  • How much to configure. Model choice and bring-your-own keys suit teams with developers. Sales and collections teams without engineers may prefer one bundled stack.
  • Paperwork for buyers. Teams facing a security review want each vendor's certifications, data location and DPDP position in writing. Bolna's pages we checked don't name certifications.

What to check before you switch

  • The full rate a minute, with telephony and platform fees included
  • The billing currency for the wallet, numbers and any pilot plan
  • Whether you need model choice and your own keys, or one bundled stack
  • Indian numbers, DND (NCPR) checks and calling windows in IST
  • A test suite you can rerun on every new agent version
  • Where recordings and transcripts are stored by default

For one bundled rupee rate with Indian call minutes included, Kallix. For telephony inside the rate plus chat and WhatsApp agents, Ringg. For many named Indian languages, Sarvam. For a pilot before you commit, Verloop. If you want Bolna's model choice on a global platform, Vapi or Retell.

Paste your Bolna prompt into the agent studio, or describe the agent in plain words and Kallix drafts it. Rebuild the knowledge base from your website URL and uploads, and map your variables, such as the customer's name and due amount. Run your test scenarios until they pass, rent an Indian number in the dashboard, and reconnect your systems through Kallix webhooks and the REST API.

It depends on your setup. Bolna starts at $0.06 a minute (₹5.52 on its page) before telephony and its platform fee, falling to about 4.5 cents (₹4.15) on its largest top-up. Kallix charges ₹4.80 a minute plus GST with Indian call minutes included. Compare a full month at your volume, including numbers and concurrency.

No. Kallix runs one stack that it chooses and tunes, priced into the per-minute rate. If bringing your own keys matters, Bolna and Vapi both support it.

Kallix stores and processes call data in India on every account. Bolna itself offers data residency in India or the US. Ringg lets you choose India as one of four regions, though its security FAQ says data may be processed outside India by its partners. Ask each vendor where recordings and transcripts sit by default.

Kallix agents speak Hinglish as well as Hindi and English, and switch when the caller switches. Verloop names Hinglish among its Indian languages, and Sarvam handles code-mixed speech. Ringg, Vapi and Retell don't name Hinglish on the pages we checked.

No. Kallix wrote it and lists itself first. Every rival fact comes from that company's own pages on 23 October 2026, linked under Sources, so you can check each one. Tell us if anything is out of date.
