Kallix vs Bland AI.
Built for regulated enterprise, or for Indian phone teams.
The short answer
Pick Bland AI if you're a large or regulated enterprise that wants one vendor's own models end to end, self-hosting, or certifications such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA and FedRAMP. Pick Kallix if you run calls to Indian phones and want ₹4.80 a minute with the call minutes inside, Indian numbers from the dashboard and call data stored and processed in India. Bland prices in dollars, bills telephony separately, and its API docs list Hindi but no other Indian language.

Where each is stronger. Pick on what matters to your calls.
Where Bland AI is stronger
Its own models, end to end
Bland builds and runs its own speech recognition, language model and voices, so call audio doesn't go to outside AI vendors. Kallix uses a stack it chooses and tunes, not one it built.
Certifications
Bland lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR and FedRAMP 20x Class A. Kallix claims no certifications.
Self-hosting
Bland deploys in your own cloud, on your own hardware or fully offline. Kallix doesn't offer self-hosting.
More lines included
Bland's free Start plan includes 10 concurrent calls and Build includes 50. Kallix includes two and charges ₹999 a month for each extra line.
Bring your own telephony
Bland works with your Twilio account or SIP trunks from any provider, with no transfer fees. Kallix works with Vobiz numbers only for now.
More languages
Bland supports 40+ languages with switching mid-call, and live translation in 23. Kallix covers Hindi, English, Hinglish and more.
Enterprise track record
Bland publishes results from named enterprise customers and offers forward-deployed engineers on enterprise plans. Kallix was founded in 2026.
Where Kallix is stronger
One rupee rate, no platform fee
₹4.80 a minute covers the AI and the Indian call minutes, with no monthly platform fee and no separate telephony bill.
Indian numbers in the dashboard
Rent 140-series, 1600 and 1601-series or regional numbers through Vobiz from ₹499 a month. Bland doesn't publish Indian numbers, so you'd bring your own carrier.
Data in India on every account
Call data is stored and processed in India from the first call, and Kallix is DPDP Act compliant as your data processor.
Indian calling rules built in
DND checks before a campaign dials, calling windows in IST, and an automated-calling declaration for every number Kallix provides.
WhatsApp follow-ups
Send a confirmation, a document or a payment link on WhatsApp after the call. Bland's messaging covers SMS, RCS and iMessage.
What a month costs. Worked in rupees.
A worked example, so you can see where the money goes. The assumptions:
- 10,000 minutes a month of outbound calls to Indian mobiles
- one Indian phone number
- five calls running at once
- Bland's Build plan, because Start allows 100 calls a day, about 3,000 a month
- dollars converted at ₹95 to $1, rounded from the mid-market rate of about ₹94.8 on 22 October 2026
- taxes left out on both sides
| Monthly cost | Kallix | Bland AI (Build) |
|---|---|---|
| AI and voice | 10,000 × ₹4.80 = ₹48,000 | 10,000 × $0.12 = $1,200, about ₹1,14,000 |
| Platform fee | None | $299, about ₹28,405 |
| Call minutes | Included | Billed separately, by your carrier or at pass-through cost on Bland's Twilio |
| Five calls at once | 3 extra lines × ₹999 = ₹2,997 | Included (50 lines) |
| One Indian number | ₹499 | Not published. Bring one through your carrier |
| What we can total | ₹51,496 | About ₹1,42,405, plus telephony |
How to read it. If your calls fit inside 100 a day, Bland's Start plan drops the platform fee: 10,000 minutes at $0.14 comes to about ₹1,33,000, plus telephony. Enterprise rates are set by contract. Bland's numbers are for teams that need its own models, self-hosting or its certifications, which Kallix doesn't offer.
Kallix bills in 30-second pulses, so a 50-second call counts as two pulses, ₹4.80.
