Bland AI alternatives.
From self-serve tools to on-premise platforms.
Why teams look beyond Bland AI.
Bland AI is an enterprise voice AI platform that builds its speech, language and voice models in-house, with a long compliance list and on-premise deployment for sensitive work. Teams look at other options for reasons like these.
- Plan limits. Bland's Start plan has no platform fee at $0.14 a minute but caps calls at 100 a day. The Build plan lowers the rate to $0.12 and raises the caps for $299 a month. Teams with spiky campaigns check whether those caps fit.
- Time to launch. By Bland's own FAQ, a production agent usually takes two to six weeks to launch, and its engineers build the first one. Teams that would rather build and test agents themselves may prefer a self-serve studio.
- Indian calling. Bland lists 40+ languages, but Hindi isn't named on the pages we checked. Teams calling Indian customers want named Hindi and Hinglish support, Indian numbers and DND checks.
- Dollar billing. Bland prices in US dollars. Some Indian teams prefer a rate in rupees.
What to check before you switch
- Daily and hourly call caps on the plan you'd actually buy
- Who builds the first agent: your team, the vendor's engineers or both
- Named support for Hindi and Hinglish, checked on a test call
- Indian numbers, DND (NCPR) checks and IST calling windows
- Deployment choices (cloud, private cloud or on-premise) and where data is stored
- Certifications your security team requires, such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001

Pick by need. Kallix fits Indian teams that want to build and test agents themselves on one rupee rate. Retell and Vapi fit global teams that want self-serve tools and APIs. ElevenLabs fits teams that care most about voices and languages. Ringg and Gnani fit Indian enterprises that want an on-premise path.
Yes. Ringg offers on-premise or private-cloud deployment on enterprise plans, Gnani lists on-premise and air-gapped options, and ElevenLabs lists on-premise options on its agents page. Kallix doesn't offer on-premise deployment; it runs in the cloud with call data stored and processed in India.
Kallix agents speak Hindi, English, Hinglish and more, and switch when the caller does. Gnani names Hindi among 40+ languages and dialects. Ringg says 20+ languages and ElevenLabs 90+, but neither names Hindi on the pages we checked, so test before you commit.
Bland's Start plan is $0.14 a minute with no platform fee and a cap of 100 calls a day. Build is $299 a month plus $0.12 a minute. Kallix charges ₹4.80 a minute plus GST, billed in 30-second pulses, with Indian call minutes included, two concurrent calls included and numbers from ₹499 a month.
No. Kallix claims no certifications. It encrypts data in transit and at rest, gives role-based access to your team, stores and processes call data in India, is DPDP Act compliant and offers a data processing agreement on request. If a certification is a hard requirement, Bland, Retell, Ringg and Gnani state theirs.
Kallix is self-serve, so most teams build their own agent in the studio. If you want help, guided launch is an add-on: Kallix conversation designers help you build, test and tune your first agents, then hand over to your team.
