Where each is stronger. Pick on what matters to your calls.
Where Sarvam is stronger
A lower rate per minute
Sarvam's agent minutes cost ₹3.00 to ₹3.50 against Kallix's ₹4.80. Even with telephony on a Sarvam number, about ₹0.40 a minute, most calls cost less on Sarvam. Our 10,000-minute example comes to about ₹36,600 on Sarvam and ₹51,496 on Kallix.
More parallel calls in the plan
Pro includes 10 calls at once and Growth 30, with no line charge. Kallix includes two and charges ₹999 a month for each extra line.
More Indian languages, named
Sarvam lists Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu, plus English. Kallix covers Hindi, English, Hinglish and more, without a full list yet.
Cheaper numbers, more carriers
Sarvam numbers cost ₹59 every 30 days, against ₹499 a month on Kallix. You can also bring Exotel, Plivo, Twilio and four other providers, or custom SIP on the higher plans.
Certifications and where it runs
ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II certified, with your own VPC, on-premise or air-gapped options. Kallix holds no certifications and is hosted only.
A record with large Indian enterprises
Sarvam's site names customers such as Tata Capital, Axis Bank and SBI Life.
Where Kallix is stronger
Telephony inside one rate, by the half-minute
₹4.80 covers the AI and the Indian call minutes, billed in 30-second pulses. Short calls cost less on Kallix: a 20-second call is ₹2.40, against ₹3.45 on Sarvam's Pro plan once its 60-second agent pulse and a telephony pulse are added.
Numbers for every kind of call
Rent 140-series numbers for promotional calls, 1600 and 1601-series numbers for service and transactional calls, and regional numbers for inbound, and Kallix declares automated calling for them. Sarvam's price list shows 11, 79 and 80-series numbers.
India's calling rules in every campaign
Numbers are checked against the DND (NCPR) register before a campaign dials, calls go out only in your IST windows, and a do-not-call request removes that person from every campaign.
DPDP Act compliant today
Both keep call data in India. Kallix is DPDP Act compliant now, and Sarvam's Trust Center lists its DPDP work as in progress.
WhatsApp after every call
Send a confirmation, a document or a UPI payment link unique to each account on WhatsApp after the call, on any account. Sarvam lists WhatsApp campaigns under Enterprise.
More credits to start
₹500 in free credits on sign-up, about 100 minutes, against ₹100 on Sarvam.
What a month costs. Worked in rupees.
A worked month on Sarvam's Pro plan, which Sarvam suggests for 3,000 to 16,000 minutes a month. The assumptions:
- 10,000 minutes a month of outbound calls to Indian mobiles, counted the same on both
- one Indian phone number and five calls running at once
- Sarvam's own numbers and telephony, not a carrier you bring
- taxes left out on both sides (Sarvam's prices exclude GST)
| Monthly cost | Kallix | Sarvam (Pro) |
|---|---|---|
| Agent minutes | 10,000 × ₹4.80 = ₹48,000 | 10,000 × ₹3.25 = ₹32,500, above the ₹9,999 Pro minimum |
| Telephony | Included | 20,000 pulses × ₹0.20 = ₹4,000 |
| Five calls at once | 3 extra lines × ₹999 = ₹2,997 | Included (Pro allows 10) |
| One Indian number | ₹499 | ₹59 |
| Total | ₹51,496 | ₹36,559 |
How to read it. At this volume Sarvam costs about ₹14,900 less a month. On pay as you go, with no plan, Sarvam's own example puts 10,000 agent minutes at ₹35,000. If you bring your own carrier to Sarvam, the telephony line moves to that carrier's bill.
Where the gap narrows. Sarvam rounds each call up to a whole minute, and Kallix to the half-minute. A 20-second call costs ₹2.40 on Kallix and ₹3.45 on Sarvam Pro with telephony. On the Pro plan, calls longer than 30 seconds cost less on Sarvam. Lists full of short calls, such as quick reminders, close some of the gap; long conversations widen it.
